More Feeding Needed for Winter

Due to the drought conditions, looks like the bees are going to be needing more additional feed to make it thru the long winter. Have been feeding bees for the last couple of weeks, looks like we still need to feed another round to about 100 colonies... better heavy hives,then light ones, and then they would need additional feed in early 2013... Based on what we have seen, 90% of our colonies are in great shape, looked a some this week, and the queens are still laying in some of them. This will help with some more young bees to go thru the winter with.
