All the honey has been extracted, and is currently being stored in 55 gallon drums. Now the next project is melting the cappings into wax cakes to be sent to supplier for exchange of equipment. We should be able to get around 150 + pounds of beeswax after all has been melted.
Production was less than we had hoped for, but better then some of the other beekeepers in area, just thankful for what we have gotten.
Also preparing to create a powerpoint presentation for the 2014 Amercian Beekeeping Federation meeting in Baton Rouge this winter (Jan 2014).
